The app says "Keep looking..." but I'm right next to the gift!

Bluetooth signals can be affected by obstacles. Try moving around slowly, and make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device. The beacon inside the gift needs a clear path to your phone.

Pop the Elf can't hear me

Make sure you've granted microphone permission when the app asks. You can check this in Settings → Gift Finder → Microphone. Speak clearly and wait for the elf to finish talking before responding.

The app isn't detecting the beacon

Check that:

• Bluetooth is turned on
• Location services are enabled for the app
• The beacon battery isn't dead
• You're within range (usually 30-50 feet)

What's the secret passphrase?

The passphrase should be written on a note from Santa that came with your gift experience. It's usually a fun phrase like "red sleigh softly gliding" or "snowflake dancing". If you can't find it, contact the person who set up the treasure hunt!

Can I use this for multiple gifts?

Yes! After finding a gift, you'll return to the welcome screen. Tap the bell again to start a new hunt with a different passphrase.

Does this work without internet?

You need internet to talk to Pop the Elf and get your beacon configuration. Once the hunt starts, beacon detection works offline.
